Returns Policy

We can offer an exchange or refund for non-custom items if they are returned within 28 days, unused or uninstalled, in resalable condition, and in their original packaging.

Change of mind or purchased in error

If you’ve had a change of heart or made an error in your purchase, refunds or exchanges are possible for non-custom items, if returned within 28 days, unused or uninstalled, in resalable condition, and in their original packaging. However, please note that refunds or exchanges for change of mind are not available for the following items:

  • Products tailored to individual specifications or custom-made items.
  • Orders of commercial quantities or special project requests.
After Sales Claims for Custom Items

We accept requests for faulty products or those not meeting the described specifications and will offer replacements or repairs. Claims for damages incurred after installation cannot be accepted. If any damage or fault is noticed withing 48 hours, kindly notify Cortani Interiors. We may request photos for inspection. Damage claims cannot be accepted for items left unattended at a property or construction site, as it’s impossible to ascertain how or when damages occurred.

After Sales Claims for Non-Custom items

We accept requests for faulty products or those not meeting the described specifications and will offer replacements, repairs, exchanges, or refunds. Claims for damages incurred during or after delivery/installation cannot be accepted. If any damage or fault is noticed upon collection or delivery, kindly notify Cortani Interiors within 48 hours. We may request photos for inspection. Damage claims cannot be accepted for items left unattended at a property or construction site, as it’s impossible to ascertain how or when damages occurred.

Warranty

Manufacturing defects or faults, not related to installation, are protected by the manufacturer’s warranty. Our products include guarantees protected by the Australian Consumer Law, ensuring entitlement to a replacement or refund in cases of major failure, as well as compensation for foreseeable losses or damages. Additionally, if goods fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure isn’t considered major, you are entitled to have them repaired or replaced.

Trade Accounts

If you hold a trade account, the terms and conditions specific to your account will govern. You must present the original invoice for any return requests. Refunds will be issued as credits to your account.

Online Orders

You can return any non-custom online purchase to Cortani Interiors. If visiting isn’t feasible, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team to explore alternative options. For further information, reach out to our Customer Service team via 1800 826 489 or info@cortani.com.au

Please Note:

Delivery fees paid for delivered items are non-refundable.

Proof of purchase, such as your receipt or tax invoice, is required.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please be aware that a Restocking Fee, which is a supplier’s return and handling fee, of up to 20% of the item value may apply to change of mind refunds, so make your selections thoughtfully.

The prices paid online or in showrooms during the transaction are considered final and encompass any discounts associated with Cortani promotions. We cannot retrospectively discount an item already purchased or offer a partial refund for an item included in a promotion after the initial purchase date.

Returns are only available for non-custom items. After your in-home measure you will be asked if you would like to proceed with the final quote. Once this is confirmed your order is final. If you happen to experience issues after installation, then the warranty process will apply.

If your return meets our Returns Policy, you can return your item within 28 days.

Restocking fees may apply up to 20% of the item value for change of mind refunds.

Your refund will paid back to you via your original payment method.
