Glass
General Cleaning Notes
  • Glass products must be cleaned both during and after installation, and as part of a routine maintenance program to maintain optimum condition and visual clarity.
  • Improper cleaning or the use of abrasive cleaners can cause permanent damage to the glass which can result in costly replacement.
  • Only clean when the surface is cool to touch.
  • Immediate removal of residue and cleaning solutions on the glass is recommended.
  • Cleaning should begin at the top of the glass and continue down to prevent residue remaining on the lower section of the glass.
  • It is recommended that glass surfaces are cleaned at least once a week to maintain optimum condition and visual clarity.
Shower Screen, Wardrobe & Splashback Glass
Cleaning Instructions
  • Cover the entire glass surface with water to loosen residue, deposits or dirt.
  • Spray one of the recommended cleaning solutions onto the glass surface.
  • Immediately wipe the entire surface with a lint free cloth to remove the cleaning solution and residue, dirt, or grime.
  • Any stubborn dirt should be gently sponged off the surface to prevent scratching the glass.
  • All traces of water and cleaning solutions must be removed from the glass, frames, and fittings. Failure to remove any residue may cause deterioration of the surface.
Recommended Cleaning Solutions
  • A mix of 1 part vinegar to 10 parts clean water; or,
  • A mix of 1 part isopropyl alcohol to 1 part clean water.

Mirrors
Cleaning Instructions
  • Add a few drops of methylated spirits onto a clean damp cloth.
  • Wipe the solution over the surface of the mirror, then polish the surface dry with a clean, dry lint free cloth.
Shower Screen Frames & Handles

Cleaning Instructions
  • Prepare a mix of 50% white vinegar and 50% clean water.
  • Apply the cleaning solution using a damp microfibre cloth.
  • Immediately wipe the entire surface with a lint free cloth to remove the cleaning solution and residue, dirt, or grime.
  • All traces of water and cleaning solutions must be removed from the glass, frames, and fittings. Failure to remove any residue may cause deterioration of the surface.
Wardrobe Cabinetry

MDF

General Cleaning Notes
  • While MDF is water resistant, care must be taken to ensure that no water or moisture is left to penetrate the inner core of the board material.
  • If cleaning with a damp cloth, immediately wipe the surface dry.
  • Improper cleaning or the use of abrasive cleaners can cause permanent damage to the board which can result in costly replacement.
Cleaning Instructions
  • For cleaning off light dust, wipe the surface with a clean, soft cloth.
  • For cleaning off residue, dirt or grime, wipe over the surface with a damp soft cloth and then immediately wipe the surface dry.

Fittings

We recommend checking your wardrobe fittings every 6 months if your wardrobe is used daily. Loose fittings can reduce sliding performance and potentially damage your wardrobe doors. If you find that a fitting is damaged, please contact us about a replacement.
