This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we, or any subsidiaries of Fienza Factory Pty Ltd, collect, store, maintain and use about you as our customer, visitor to any of our websites, user or contributor to our social media pages and other digital services, or member of the public. By using our websites and engaging with our online channels (including via social media or other channels), or by otherwise acquiring any product or service from us, you agree to and accept the contents of the Privacy Policy. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

6. How do we store your personal information?

Any personal information you supply to us is stored securely either electronically or physically, or a combination of both. We store most of your personal information in Australia. We may also store some of your personal information with third party service providers overseas, including Ireland, The Netherlands, Canada, and the United States of America, to conduct our business operations and provide products and services to you. To ensure that your personal information is protected and stored securely, we undertake the following measures:

  • Restrict access to your personal information to only those who need it for relevant purposes;

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. 8. Do we utilise web tracking systems or cookies?

We collect and utilise traffic activity on our websites using cookies. Cookies store a small amount of information which is stored on the hard drive of your computer and is used to identify your web browser, but not you personally. You can disable cookies in your web browser, but not all services may be available when accessing our websites.

We may automatically collect statistical data on our websites about our visitors, such as IP addresses, browsers used, pages visited, dates and times of usage and other similar data that is not personally identifiable. If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We will review your complaint and investigate. We will provide a response to you within a reasonable timeframe if we have all the necessary information required to complete an investigation. During an investigation, we may request that you provide your complaint to us in writing to help us understand the complaint correctly. We may request further information from you to complete the investigation. We will always try to resolve your complaint directly within a reasonable timeframe. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may refer your complaint to the Privacy Commissioner at the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If our business has a change of ownership, your personal information will be transferred to the new owner of the business so that the business can continue operations.
